What is Self management...
It's when you're well organised and taking responsibility of your behaviour and own well being. An example of being self managed is doing the right thing and task when people are around you or not.

Self management to me is...
What I think about this is, just having many responsibilities along the way in life, like having to take care of your belongings. An example is children,work and money. All these things have to do with being self managed.

Whys it important...
It helps you to become a better person, you may not feel like, but others will see it. Have the ability to change when you're in a bad mood and have a negative mindset. So that you can feel happy and be in a positive mood.

Responsibility is a key word here - taking responsibility for your own behaviour and actions is a huge part of being self-managed. I like how you have said you may not feel yourself becoming a better person, but others will see it. Could you please explain a little more about how they might see it? Who might notice? Also, the change of mindset is related to the strategy of resiliency, can you think of any other strategies? Miss D
