Spike Ball

In this event i participated in the aim to score was to try and hit the ball as hard as you can and rebound it off a net onto the ground. If the opponent caught the ball the point wouldn't count and so the game continues on until someone scores. We were in teams of 3 and the game was not enjoyable but average (fun).

The level i thought i played at was achieved because i wasn't playing to the best of my ability, I thought i was. I wasn't enjoying it that much as i thought i was. I just wasn't familiar with the sport, i still played it though i passed the ball throughout my team, I got a couple of goals for the team and I also defended my opponents to stop them from scoring. Next time I play this game i can do better because of my previous experiences, and so can my team mates. They did well helping me and getting points.

3 factors that influenced my participation was Equipment+ Fun and enjoyment- fitness+

Equipment had a positive effect on my participation because like always we had everything we needed to play the game. Fun and enjoyment had a negative effect on my participation because I wasn't familiar with the game I only just learnt how to play it, which sucked. My fitness level in this game played a small part in my participation because as soon as a team won we have a break in between setting up the game again which is what i needed.

In the future something i can do to increase my participation is too help out my team mates when they need it, get many more points by moving around and also catching the ball.

Chop sticks

Today I played modified game of hockey which was similar to capture the flag. So basically I was in a team of 6 and the aim of the game was to try and capture the puck from my opponents and take it back to my side. The objective was to have 4 pucks on my side of the half then the games is won which was what my team did. It was fun and everyone really enjoyed apart from me.

I thought that i met the criteria of the game because I played to the best I can guarding my opponents so they don't take the pucks, attacking my opponents side of the half getting their pucks and just being involved helping out my team mates. I really thought i played well and had lots of fun and so i grade myself an achieved.

Factors that influenced me while my i was participating, Fun and enjoyment-, Fitness+ and equipment+. Fun and enjoyment had a negative effect on my participation because it was a sport that i wasn't familiar with, I didn't like the sport itself and because i wasn't good at it. Fitness and equipment had positive effects on my participation because we had everything we needed to play the sport including the numbers. My fitness played a big part in this sport because it was tiring running up and down the pitch but I managed it.

In the future something i can do to increase my participation is too try and cope with not liking the game to liking the game, basically changing my attitude and coping with it. Have fun.

Thoughts about blogging

Blogging

My previous experiences with blogging...
I've Blogged before now and then, during my primary days but now since I'm grown up I've forgotten how to. My experience, I really don't have one, and i never enjoyed it but it's life

How Blogging impacts my learning...
Blogging today has a massive impact because people post up things that they've learnt and it can help those who need information, they can look up others post. It impacts my learning because it helps me store memories and after a couple years, I can come back to it and see what I've done in my college days.

What I enjoy about it...
There's really nothing i enjoy about blogging to be honest, it's really not my thing. probably the only part
I enjoy is posting my work seeing what I've done and the aftermath of it being published.

What is Self management...
It's when you're well organised and taking responsibility of your behaviour and own well being. An example of being self managed is doing the right thing and task when people are around you or not.

Self management to me is...
What I think about this is, just having many responsibilities along the way in life, like having to take care of your belongings. An example is children, work and money. All these things have to do with being self managed.

Whys it important...
It helps you to become a better person, you may not feel like, but others will see it. Have the ability to change when you're in a bad mood and have a negative mindset. So that you can feel happy and be in a positive mood.
